The Oceanarium hosts around 8,000 animals and plants from more than 500 species! It consists of five main habitats. A large central aquarium represents the global ocean, while four adjoining aquariums showcase the interaction between Earth and sea in each of the four oceans: Atlantic, Antarctic, Pacific, and Indian. Each habitat is carefully designed to recreate the natural environments of these diverse marine ecosystems.
